Customer Service August 26, 2006

I’ve been visting branches of the St. Louis Public Library in preparation of opening a new mini-branch.  There was one thing that a person told me during my visits that I thought was good to pass along.

When you are doing one of your many duties and are interrupted by a patron it is important to not become frustrated or annoyed.  The work will be there when you are done but if the patron doesn’t come back the work will go away too.
