Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC) has an exciting opportunity
available in the position of Electronic Resources Coordinator.  MLNC, a
multi-type library consortium serving over 500 members in Missouri and
Illinois, organizes and delivers OCLC-based information services,
related electronic services and content, and training in the management
and use of information to its member libraries and other contracting

Reporting to the User Services Manager, the Electronic Resources
Coordinator organizes group license activities and group discount
Duties include:
— Develop and implement targeted marketing programs and coordinating
database trials
— Provide product support by answering questions, processing orders and
trouble-shooting for members
— Conduct database demonstrations both in-person and online
— Represent MLNC at local, state and national meetings
— Participate in conference exhibits
— Complete in-house projects as assigned
— Bachelor’s Degree required, MLS from an ALA-accredited program
— Library or library-related experience
— Current awareness of trends and issues in libraries of all types and
in the electronic resources market
— Demonstrated organizational skills and service orientation
— Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
— Proven ability to manage and complete several projects at one time
— Ability to work with diverse staff in member libraries with varying
degrees of background and expertise
— Experience working in a Windows environment with MS Office products
— Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
— Valid driver’s license and ability to maneuver equipment
