Just FYI, the deadline for signing up has been pushed back to Nov. 9th! E-mail Renee Gorrell (lrg8696@bjc.org) if you are planning to attend.

Here is updated information about parking, also…
The program fees cover your parking at the Moolah Garage which is behind the buildings (watch for the neon sign for the Moolah Bowling alley). Metered parking is available but you must feed the meters until 7 p.m. and they are “very, very strict”. You will receive parking coupons at the registration table to be used when you exit the parking garage. For those needing handicap parking this is available at the driveway in front of the Coronado.

This was an excellent event! Not only did we get to meet and hear Margaret Conroy, there were all kinds of other libraries represented, special, public, and academic. Also in attendance were Tracy Byerly of MLNC and the new director of MOBIUS, Beth Fisher. Beth gave a few of the students some interesting practicum, networking and/or volunteering ideas for an upcoming conference. Rosie Weiss, President Elect of the St. Louis Metro Chapter, suggested that LISGSA St. Louis Committee coordinate with SLA members to create library visits and other events.
