St. Louis Saturday, March 10th (new location)! March 5, 2007

Posted by apenningster in Library Stuff.

Join your fellow students, professors, alums and colleagues at 10am this Saturday, March 10th at the St. Louis Bread Company in Clayton (*more info about the new location below).  We will be discussing OCLC’s WorldCat.org, WorldCat’s destination site on the World Wide Web that allows people to find library resources.  We’ll also discuss other Open WorldCat issues and features.

Here are some things to get us started:

We encourage you to try WorldCat.org for yourself (http://worldcat.org/) if you haven’t done so already.

Also, take a look at http://worldcat.org/sitesandtips/default.jsp to learn about other ways you can use WorldCat to help people find items in libraries (through popular search engines, adding toolbars to web browsers, and adding search boxes to your website, to name a few).
