Posted by L Wolfe in Library Stuff, Student Stuff.

Every year MOBIUS hosts an annual conference.  This year the conference will be held at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. It will run from June 5th through 7th.  Susan Nutter, Vice Provost and Director of Libraries at North Carolina State  University, will be the keynote speaker.
We are looking for 8 student volunteers to assist with various duties on June 5th and 6th. Training sessions are held on June 7th. Duties for June 5th and June 6th will include working on the registration desk, assisting with the sessions, helping direct attendees to session rooms, and assisting with problem resolution at the conference. We also need some assistance before the conference with preparation of conference materials.
Student volunteers will be given free registration, which includes the Tuesday night reception, and one night’s lodging at the Tan-Tar-A Resort.  Transportation, food, and incidentals will be the responsibility of the student volunteer.  Student volunteers will be able to list this work on their resume as MOBIUS 2007 Annual Conference,  Conference Student Volunteer.
