Reference Librarian – Part Time

This position serves as a member of the Reference team, providing legal reference service to Law School faculty and students, the Saint Louis University community, and the general public. This is a part time weekend position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position shares the weekend reference schedule with other part- time reference librarians. It will involve working two or three weekend days a month 12 months a year. Reference hours on Saturday are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday Noon – 6 p.m. The primary responsibility is Reference Desk coverage in support of the research and curricular needs of law school students and faculty.

Qualifications:

MLS or equivalent and Law Library experience required. Knowledge of print and electronic legal research sources. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Strong service orientation.
