Job Posting: University of Missouri, Columbia July 7, 2007

 The University of Missouri currently has an opening for a Learning Resource Specialist to direct the Online Writery services offered by the Learning Center. The position is a benefit eligible, 30 hour per week (.75 FTE), twelve-month position. We are looking for a technologically savvy person with experience in teaching writing. A Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related area is required. A brief outline of duties is given below.
Hire, train, and supervise online and face-to-face writing tutors. Manage budget and payroll for all online writing tutors. Maintain and update all Online Writeries technology; provide orientation and support to various online faculty and students. Provide programming and data support for TRiO director to meet Student Support Services grant goals, reporting requirements, and renewal. Provide internal technical training/support for Learning Center staff, in cooperation with A&S Support Team.
